And who said anything about me winning swimsuit? I really don’t care about who wins what just so long as it was “well deserved” and done Honestly. The other delegates are saying that I should have won best in swimsuit not me. I agree with you, I wish I did have more hips and a smaller waistline.. in fact I wish I had bigger bust line too… but I am proud of what God gave me and I have to live with it.

1.) my ONE slip up in interview (please READ BELOW I’m going to put the WHOLE truth out there) and
2.) My humiliating fall during the beginning of the swimsuit competition (which was due to NEGLIGENCE of the production company who failed to clean up rose petals off of the stage). I’m not the only one who slipped or almost fell!

So save your breathe and time, because I’m going to go ahead and VOLUNTEER whatever information it is you could possibly manipulate and use against me RIGHT NOW and SQUASH THIS.

Okay so THANK YOU “presspass” so very much for bringing up the INTERVIEW because I’ve been meaning to talk about this for some time now. But there has just been SO MUCH scandal with this pageant that it seems we lose track of where to start.

Where should I start with interview?……

1.) JOEY GALONE:
As many of the delegates know and witnessed, 15 minutes PRIOR to my interview Joey Galone dragged me back by the bathrooms to “scare” me up and YELL AND SCREAM at me for undeserved accusations. He had his finger in my face, screaming at me, and his exact words JUST LIKE THE COMMENTER “OUCH” above was… “aren’t you the oldest one in this pageant?”. I WILL never forget his face when he said that and tried to sabatoge me before interview. I was in tears and trying to talk to him, but he wouldn’t let me get my 2 cents in. It’s as clear as day in my mind. So i know that the above commenter “ouch” is probably JOEY GALONE. Mind you, he did this RIGHT after my makeup artist brought up my national costume headpiece which was embellished beautifully to be almost as beautiful as Ariana’s headpiece that Joey Galone either provided or made for her. I’m guessing that seeing my headpiece made him mad or feel threatened and it’s at that point in time he felt that the “inappropriate” need to speak/scream at me “RIGHT before my interview”. Good job Joey, it worked for a little while! i was shaken up and more nervous than I was before because of this incident. Ultimately It only empowered me to try harder. When this matter was brought to the attention of the production company, NOTHING was done aboout it.

2.) WHAT PRESS other than “CHINESE DAILY” was back in the interview room? Please enlighten me. Because the only people I saw back there were the Virgelia productions staff, the ONE VIDEOGRAPHER, the CHINESE DAILY news (who are personal friends of my family), JOEY GALONE, and the JUDGES (friends or not friends with Ariana and her family). So unless you had access to the video, you really wouldn’t know what was going on. But perhaps JOEY or one of the judges were able to review the interview of the delegates. So if you are going to tell a story “PRESSPASS” at least translate the information correctly.

3.) NOBODY IN THIS PAGEANT IS STUPID. NOBODY!!!!!!!
Everyone who participated in this pageant is smart, intelligent, educated, and engaging. So how ignorant are you to call someone “STUPID” that you don’t even know. KUDOS to the delegates (especially those that don’t speak very good english) on your interview. Great job.

As for me, I graduated top of my class, scored a 1300 on my SAT test, was admitted into SEVERAL top business schools including USC and Pepperdine, and attended college with a steady 3.7 GPA or higher. I did all this while paying my own way through school and living on my own. I run a business and manage many events and promotions. Can a “stupid” pageant girl do that?

I KNOW my government, and I LOVE what they do for our country. So don’t go making assumptions about ME PRESSPASS!! ***********

**4.) THE HOT TOPIC AT HAND: The question about JOE BIDEN (or so he was trying to say)
Let me start by briefing you the KEY POINTS ON OUR INTERVIEW that were heavily INSTILLED and EMPHASIZED throughout our training and right before competition day. Joey Galone and Virgelia Productions made it VERY CLEAR that NO QUESTION will be asked in regards to RELIGION OR POLITICS NO MATTER WHAT!!! She made it VERY CLEAR that this is a CULTURAL pageant and any matters in regards to religion or politics should be refrained from talking about because it takes away from the emphasis of THE CULTURAL BEAUTY that we are trying to portray about our countries. This approach is the ENTIRE basis under which she was able to win her lawsuit against the Donald Trump organization… it was by keeping this pageant a STRICTLY CULTURAL PAGEANT.
OUR PERSONALITY INTERVIEW was supposed to be questions derived from our BIOGRAPHY that each judge had in front of them. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE about our CULTURE and our COUNTRY. Again, it was HEAVILY emphasized to the judges and to the delegates that NO QUESTIONS REGARDING RELIGION OR POLITICS will be brought up.
So Having said that, when I sat down for my interview I was engaging with the judges about my business, about my country, about my culture, what ethnic food I would bring back Taiwan if I could.. etc etc etc . James Albert then threw out a question “Who is so and so…” I did not understand him with his heavy accent and asked him to repeat it. At this point in time, my mind was thinking he was trying to ask me something about a chinese public figure, or perhaps a Taiwanese hero, SOMETHING IN REGARDS TO TAIWAN AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE! So he repeated it… “who is so and so”. Still running through Taiwanese public figures in my head trying to make out what TAIWANESE NAME he was trying to say with his heavy accent and still mentally prepared to answer a question about a TAIWANESE person, I replied. “I’m sorry i do not know, WHO IS so and so?”. It was at the point in time when HE TOLD ME HE WAS TRYING TO SAY “JOE BIDEN, our vice president of the UNITED STATES” ….
DARN IT!!! At that moment I realized THAT I WAS THROWN A CURVE BALL AND MISSED MY OPPORTUNITY TO HIT IT. Oh well. Believe me… I already beat myself up about missing a question I KNEW THE ANSWER to but between nerves, his accent, and my mindset prepared to answer ANYTHING REGARDING TAIWAN, MY CULTURE, and MY BIOGRAPHY (NOT POLITICS OR RELIGION).. I messed up. OH well. I’m human. I messed up. Does this make you guys feel better? I shouldn’t have to explain myself like this!

This Politic move by the judge was pulled with a few delegates aside from myself (especially ARMENIA) and caught a lot of people off guard. Do you think ARIANA was asked anything political? I guess the only people who would know would be “supposedly the press” and those that saw the videotape.

I’m not afraid to admit where I messed up.

I’m not ashamed of any of my actions, and if I make a mistake, I humbly admit it and apologize for it.

I’m not afraid to REVEAL THE TRUTH.

I am NOT going to HIDE MY IDENTITY because I have nothing to be ashamed of or hide. I gave 110 % of myself to this pageant the HONEST AND DILIGENT way and I left with my INTEGRITY and SELF-RESPECT.

I MADE IT TO TOP 5 WITHOUT KNOWING ANY OF THE JUDGES AND COMPETING with girls almost 10 years younger than me. I am 27 years old. The cut off age to be in this pageant is 28. That, to me, is a HUGE accomplishment.

I answered my top 10 and top 5 interview questions WITHOUT STUMBLING OR RAMBLING ON STAGE in front of an audience of about 2000 people. PRESSPASS- Watch the video tape if you still want to ignorantly brand me a “stupid pageant girl”.

I AM PROUD OF MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS and NONE OF YOU can bring me down.

NO MATTER how much you guys try to direct the attention away from the MAIN ISSUE AT HAND FOR THIS BLOG by sabatoging and making fun of other delegates including myself, the TRUTH WILL COME OUT eventually.

Just because I’m one of the few delegates writing on this board without hiding my identity DOES NOT MEAN the other delegates don’t agree or feel the same as I do.

So if you have anything else to say, feel free to say it. Because I will address and clarify ANYTHING because I’m not hiding behind curtains. The more you bring stuff up, the more opportunity I will have to speak out THE TRUTH. Everything I say is NOT based on rumor or speculation… i have evidence to back up EVERYTHING.

p.s. – whew… What a waste of time this was. Going to back to my life now.
