MISS MABUHAY PAGEANT
October 3, Saturday 5pm at the Meralco Theater
A Metro Manila wide friendly competition among GK communities for the Miss Mabuhay who best represents the values of Gawad Kalinga. Attended by over a thousand among our Kapitbahayan and Caretaker women.
GK BUILDERS’S INSTITUTE FORUM
October 9, Friday 9am to 5pm at The Ateneo
Gathering over five hundred of GK management and caretaker teams – those who lead in the work of GK on the ground – in a forum to educate and empower.
PARTNER’S NIGHT
October 9, Friday 7pm at The Blue Leaf, McKinley Hill
VIP night where 500 top-level partners (CEO’s, head of gov’t offices, LGU) will grace the event for a night of honoring and solidifying our commitment to nation building.
October 10 Activities
JOB FAIR BY jobstreet.com (8am to 5pm) An opportunity for jobseekers to find their match in the workplace. Joining us will be companies in industries of BPO, construction, overseas contractors and manufacturing looking to hire immediately.
GRAND KAARAWAN (9am-3pm) A full-day birthday celebration for all SAGIP kids (6-10 years old). Children will get a complete experience of a birthday show, cake-blowing, snacks and take home loot bags.
TAMBAYANI (8am-4pm) The youth tambayan where there will be an entire day of fun activities. A mix of music, sports and heroism to refresh the thirsts of the youth.
GRAND PAKAIN (11am-2pm) In a powerful demonstration of Goodbye Gutom, GK’s Bayan Anihan will showcase the fruits of their bountiful harvest through the biggest eat-out for all who are present.
GK CARAVAN OF HOPE (2-4pm) Championed by 1-Utak, a jeepney driver’s group partnered with GK, a motorcade will travel towards The Fort Grounds.
MARTSA LABAN SA KAHIRAPAN (2-4pm) A massive show of force from the youth sector to proclaim their conviction and commitment to work towards ending poverty.
Multi-CULTURAL MULTI-SECTORAL PARADE (5-6pm) Enjoining all sectors to showcase in a multi-cultural parade for the truest and most colorful expression of people power.
LAKAS NG PAGBABAGO CONCERT (6-10pm) A surprising mix of explosive entertainment and inspiring talks. With special appearances by exciting personalities from the entertainment industry who will testify to the power of nation building.
