12th Annual Walk for Hope To Cure Breast Cancer
The City of Hope and the Lions Club International District 4-L3 invite you all to the 12th Annual Walk of Hope to Cure Breast Cancer to support breast cancer research, treatment and education. The annual event will be held on November 9, 2008 in Duarte, CA. Assembly will be at 8:00 A.M. and the Walk begins at 10:00 A.M.
Albertson’s Savon is the local presenting sponsor for the Duarte Walk of Hope. National sponsors include United Stations, Hilton HHonors, Good Housekeeping, Delta SkyMiles, and The Walking Company.

I usally sign up for walk 4 hope on line. Can I still do that this year?
I am looking for a walk for cure, or running, biking, etc… event. My grandma has colon cancer and is in her third bout with chemo. I would like to be involved in an event of any sort for cancer awareness, cancer cure. I am having a hard time finding any events anywhere near where i live. I live in the central valley of california (tulare county) my parents live in the sacramento area. So any events in those areas would be great. i am a child of marissa aberion whose suffering pain from her right breast,,,,,she wanted to have a mammogram test but due to our stature, we aren’t able to have this test cause were lacking of budget…..and i even felt the pain she’s suffering cause everytime i saw her aching,,,,my heart aches too…..i am hoping that through this mail something will be happening to my mom….i dont wanna see her like that…cause shes my strength,,,,,
