Filipino WWII Veterans Need Your Help for Congressmen to Vote YES on S.1315

Dear friends,

Please contact your Member of Congress TODAY to vote YES on S.1315. It will only take 1 minute of your time and will greatly affect the lives of our surviving veterans.

Time is of the essence. Out of the 260,000 soldiers listed by the U.S. Army after World War II, only 18,000 are alive today.

Visit http://www.fasgi.org/veterans to learn more or to find out who your elected officials are. Attached is a sample letter to send directly to your Representative(s). Or, simply e-mail or fax it back to us and we will contact them on your behalf.

Your support is crucial to the passing of the Veterans’ Benefits Enhancement Act (S.1315). The bill may be up for vote this September! Please distribute this information to as many people as possible.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely yours,
Susan Dilkes

  1. Dear Ms. Dilkes,

Please send a letter to my Congressman for the City of Corona, on my behalf regarding the S.1315 bill, to be passed. My father Victor I. Villamora was a veteran in the Armed Forces of the Philippines and fought during the war against the Japanese in 1942. Thank you for your kind attention to this request.

    Sincerely,

    Mercedes V. Miranda
    Daughter of Victor I. Villamora
    Riverside County, City of Corona
