Greetings to you with your holy Angel.
Do you know where I may acquire 2 close up tickets to His Holiness Mass in NY Stadium ?
If so, please reply.
With Jesus Crucified,
Mary
The Archdiocese of New York had been distributing the free coveted tickets to the Holy Mass at the Yankee Stadium through the 195 Catholic parishes in the U.S. and registered parishioners since late last year. The U.S. is home to 69 million Catholics, or about one in four Americans.
The last I heard, the free tickets have all been snapped up since mid-January.
Remember, you can still view the whole event close up if you tune in to EWTN or via online streaming video.
Peace.
Addendum:
Catholic Parishes had to give church officials the names of those receiving tickets well ahead of time for background checks by the U.S. Secret Service. They are in charge of the security of Pope Benedict XVI throughout his visit this April.
Tickets are free and they are non-transferable. Those with tickets will have to show the ticket and a U.S. government issue photo ID which will be checked on the computer. All individuals entering the events will be subject to search by the United States Secret Service, the New York City Police Department, and/or the Yonkers Police Department.
So please don’t be fooled by someone selling you a ticket in person or online to the the Papal events at the Yankee Stadium or at Yonkers because those are fraudulent and you won’t be able to get in.
Thank You Maria Maria.
Mother Mary has my seat reserved.
With Jesus Crucified,
Mary
I cannot wait to see our Holy Father at Yankee Stadium. What a blessing it will be for us all.
I remember Pope John Paul II saying Mass at the Dodger Stadium in L.A. and that same year, the Dodgers won the World Series. If I recall right, that was election year and the conservative right won the presidential race.
May the Lord guide and protect our Good Shepherd as he blesses us with his visit next month.
I was so INCREDIBLY moved by the cantor Christi Chiapetti at St. Joseph’s Seminary during Pope Benedicts visit! Her voice and stage presence are absolutely incredible and her cantor during the “Litany Of The Saints” brought tears to my eyes. I am so overwhelmed by her voice and deliverance…
I want to sincerely thank you Dr. Pascual for having the vision to select Ms. Chiapetti as the cantor at St. Josephs. I watched the program on Fox news and went immediately to google to find out who this BEAUTIFUL voice belonged to.
I am a Program Director at a Classic Rock Radio Station in Grand Rapids Mich. I appreciate moving moments that send chills and or tears to one’s body and Ms. Chiapetti’s delivery of the Litany did just that to me…
Thanks You so much Dr. Pascual!

Maria Maria, thank you for responding to my post here. Is there an e-mail address for Christi Chiapetti? I would like to interview her about her experience as cantor for Pope Benedict’s visit.
Thank You so much Maria!
Joseph Daugherty
Welcome back Joseph and you’re welcome. I wish I could help you get that interview, but I do not have Christi Chiapetti’s email address. I had heard that she was a cantor at Saint Frances de Chantal Parish in the Bronx - http://www.sfdchantal.org/ They’ll be able to help you get in touch with her much better than I could.
Best wishes.
