Advent Pilgrimage for Married Couples

“The Journey to Christ: An Advent Pilgrimage for Married Couples” will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Mount Carmel in the Desert Retreat Center located at 39501 180th Street, East Palmdale, CA 93591.

The Carmelite Sisters invite you to Mt. Carmel in the Desert to experience the austerity, silence and solitude of the Mojave Desert where God has been discovered by those who make the journey.

Meeting place is Holy Trinity Church, 3722 Boyce Avenue/Appleton, Los Angeles, CA 90039. Coach departs for the desert at 7:00 A.M. and arrives back at 7:00 P.M. Bus capacity is 50 (1 busload). Our deadline is on Nov. 27 (Tuesday).

0930 Orientation
0945 Conference (Retreat Master: Benedictine Priest)
1045 Break (Gift Shop Open)
1100 Stations of the Cross - Outdoors or Indoors
1200-1230 Enter into a silent time in the desert, either indoors or outdoors
1230-1330 Lunch
1230-1400 Gift Shop Open
1400 Conference
1500 Break
1515 Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
1600 Reposition followed by Holy Mass
1700 Raffle Prizes
