WordPress Tutorial - Add Videos to Your Posts - The Easy Way

With a click of a button in the HTML editor, you can add videos to your post from the following video sites:

• YouTube
• Google Video
• IFILM
• Metacafe
• MySpace
• Vimeo

As well as these file types:

• QuickTime (MOV, etc.)
• Generic video files (AVI, MPEG, WMV, etc.)
• Flash Video Files (FLV)

1. Go to Login page URL

2. Enter Username and Password. You’ll be directed to the Dashboard area.

3. Click on Write tab and the page will open to the default Write > Posts page.

4. While in Visual Editor mode, the buttons on the right side are associate with the video sites listed above. Click on one of buttons and the box below will appear. Enter the URL e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxx in the space provided in box. The maximum width is 500px.

5. You can add text before and/or after the video/s.

6. When you’re done, click on Publish button.
